  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon Sichuan peppercorns, ground (optional)
  • 1/4 cup hot water
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1/2 lb ground beef or chicken
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, minced
  • 1 teaspoon hoisin sauce
  • Chopped green onions
  • Crushed peanuts or sesame seeds

Instructions

  1. Cook the noodles in boiling salted water until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a bowl, mix chili oil, sesame paste, soy sauce, black vinegar, sugar, and hot water.
  3. Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Add ground meat and cook until browned. Stir in garlic and ginger.
