Ingredients
Scale
1 3lb rack of beef baby back ribs (cut in half and silver membrane removed)
1 cup BBQ sauce (homemade or store-bought)
2 tablespoons brown sugar
1 tablespoon garlic powder
1 tablespoon smoked paprika
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon white pepper
Instructions
Prepare the rub by combining brown sugar, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, onion powder, and white pepper in a small bowl. Generously season both sides of the ribs with this mixture.
Preheat your air fryer to 380°F for even cooking.
Cut the ribs if needed to fit in a single layer in the air fryer basket, placing them meat side down. Cook for 20 minutes at 380°F.
Carefully flip the ribs using tongs and cook for another 10 minutes.
Brush the cooked ribs with barbecue sauce, then increase the temperature to 400°F and air fry for an additional 5 minutes until caramelized.
Remove from the air fryer and let rest briefly before serving.
