  • 1/4 C light brown sugar

  • 3 Tbsp unsalted butter (melted)

  3. Blend: Combine cooled custard and apple butter in a blender until smooth. Chill in the refrigerator overnight.
  4. Make Oatmeal Crisp: Mix crisp ingredients by hand until crumbly; bake at 375°F for 10 minutes and cool.
  5. Churn Ice Cream: Churn chilled mixture according to your ice cream maker’s instructions. Layer with oatmeal crisp in a container and freeze until firm.
