  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced

  • 150ml chicken broth
  • 150ml heavy cream
  • 1 tbsp tomato paste
  • 1 cup basmati rice

  1. Begin by cooking the basmati rice in salted water until fluffy; set aside.
  2. Season the chicken with smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat and brown the chicken until fully cooked. Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté onion, red bell pepper, and garlic until softened. Stir in smoked and sweet paprika along with tomato paste.
  4. Add chicken broth to the skillet and simmer for about 3-4 minutes before pouring in heavy cream. Return the chicken to the skillet and cook until the sauce thickens.
  5. Serve hot over rice, garnished with chopped parsley.
