Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 chicken thighs (deboned but skin-on)
  • 3 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • 1 ½ tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon tamari (or soy sauce)
  • 1 teaspoon Sriracha chili sauce
  • 1 teaspoon rice vinegar (or apple cider vinegar)
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, whisk together honey, tamari, Sriracha chili sauce, rice vinegar, and salt until well combined. Add minced garlic and stir.
  2. Place chicken thighs in a shallow dish or zip-top bag, pour marinade over them, and coat well. Marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
  3. Heat oil in a cast iron skillet over medium heat. Add marinated chicken and cook until both sides are golden brown and fully cooked through.
  4. Pour any remaining marinade into the skillet once the chicken is cooked, allowing it to thicken slightly before serving.
